I think all Singaporean should own one copy of this book.
All of us have been to Secondary school and we are able to related to some of the uniforms pictured in the book.
Some of the school uniforms evolved since our time.
In another 10 years, some of the school uniforms may change totally or vanish due to closure or merge.
Hence I think this book is worth the collection.
The book called My School Uniform, consist of 365pages featuring the uniforms of 142 secondary schools across Singapore.
The book document the design and the changes of the school uniform and the meanings behind the badges and motto of various schools

Talking about school uniform, my formal secondary school, Woodgrove Secondary has to be in the list!
The male uniform is very normal, smart and safe.
As the male move on to upper secondary, their bottom change from a knee length short to a long pant.
So it is very easy for people to identify which level the students are at.
For the female uniform, I suppose children born before the Millennia, know what the uniform resembled.
Sometimes people do call us, 'Sailormoon'.
I think it is a very unique uniform, and people can easily recognise our school
As the female progress to higher level.
The sailor top changes to a white blouse which matches the male's uniform.
The blouse has a light narrow cutting at the waist which bring out the female's figure.
Although the skirt looks very big and baggy, but it helps to cover up our flaws.
Female no need to worry about showcasing their imperfect thighs and they can sit in whatever position they want without worries of exposure.

If Primary, Secondary and Collage can be identified as Toddler > Teenage> Youth
Then Admiralty Secondary School is the 'Teenage' of my primary school.
I graduated from Admiralty Primary School.
Usually most students will choose to study the Secondary school of the same name.
However it is not for my case.
But still, the word 'Admiralty' still give me a sense of belonging.

Above are some of the schools which I am familiar with.
I want to point out that not all Secondary schools in Singapore participated in this program (I really do not understand why)
So you may not be able to find your school.
I am very glad that Woodgrove Secondary did participate in this program.
I really want to thank the Principal and Thumb up for you! :)
